Data Protection PolicyBS48 Services has always protected customer data but the introduction of the EU General Data Protection Regulations means we have to be more precise in this respect. The following is a precis of our Data Protection policy. The data we keep is contact name, email address, physical address and asset test results. By virtue of acceptance of our service, the customer gives permission for us to hold this data. The data will be kept for a maximum of 5 years from the last time that the service was fulfilled. It will never be passed to a third
party without speicific permission to do so. The data is kept in a customer specific database file. The storage of the files is protected electronically by passwords and protection software to prevent unauthorised access. The report, certificate and invoice are emailed to the customer in unencrypted .pdf format. These documents contain the data specified above. |
